Consultation has concluded
Clarence Valley Council wants you to have your say about how Brooms Head Beach, Cakora Point (the headland) and Lake Cakora are managed for the next 10 years or so.
Two (2) public ‘drop-in’ sessions attended by Council staff will be held at Brooms Head Hall on Thursday 3 and Monday 21 July 2014 (after lunch to 7.30pm).
These sessions will provide an opportunity for interested persons to learn more about and discuss the Draft Plan with Council staff one-on-one. These sessions will not be in the form of a public meeting.
The full Draft Management Plan can be viewed at Council’s customer service centres in Grafton and Maclean, Brooms Head Caravan Park office, Brooms Head Store and Brooms Head Bowling & Recreation Club.
Submissions are invited should be in writing to the General Manager, Clarence Valley Council, Locked Bag 23, Grafton, NSW 2460 or by email: council@clarence.nsw.gov.au clearly marked “Brooms Head Beach and Lake Cakora Draft Coastal Zone Management Plan”.
The closing date for submissions is 4.30pm Monday 28 July 2014.
