Pacific Highway, 5th of January 2019 (late afternoon)

I saw several coastal emus in a treeless paddock, close to the new bypass 5th of January 2019 (late afternoon). There's no wildlife friendly fencing or underpasses for them to access the river under the current Pacific Highway route. I hope the same can't be said when the new bypass is "complete".

I hope farm dogs have a limited ability to roam on those private properties too.

Driving home from Maclean to Grafton this afternoon. I sighted a Coastal Emu grazing on farm land...
