Consultation has concluded

The Draft 2015/16 Operational Plan gives you details of what Council is going to spend your rate money on for the 2015/16 financial year. It is a very important draft document for you. Now is the time to have your say on whether you agree with it or disagree with it.

For example, there is no budget showing for the mobile library service. What does this mean for the ratepayer? This indicates that the service will be discontinued. If you agree with this, then tell us. If you disagree with this, then tell us.

The final decision rests with your Councillors. A report will be compiled for them to consider at the Council meeting to be held on 23 June 2015. The report will inform them of what submissions have been received and what the ratepayers want.

Now is the time to become involved and HAVE YOUR SAY!

Submissions will be received and considered prior to the adoption of the final documents by June 30, 2015.

The documents will be available at Council offices in Grafton and Maclean or can be downloaded below.

Comments should be in writing to the General Manager, Clarence Valley Council, Locked Bag 23, Grafton, NSW 2460, online at Clarence Conversations or by email: council@clarence.nsw.gov.au(External link) clearly marked "Submission to plans".

The closing date for submissions is 4pm on Friday, June 12, 2015.
