Clarence Valley Council (CVC): CVC has a designated Project Officer, Dr Caragh Heenan, engaging the local community in koala conservation through a range of workshops, educational resources and the management of a citizen science based online koala register.
Jeff Thomas: Jeff Thomas started his working career at Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney undertaking vegetation surveys, plant identification and herbarium collection maintenance. He worked as a Ranger, Project Officer and Pest Officer for 30 years with the National Parks and Wildlife Service NSW. Through these positions and other secondments, he conducted botanical surveys, undertook vegetation monitoring programs and environmental assessments, and native plant and weed identification assessments. In addition, Jeff discovered Banyabba Shiny Gum (Eucalyptus pachycalyx ssp banyabbensis) in 1995.

Biolink Ecological Consultants: Dr Stephen Phillips is the Managing Director of Biolink, wildlife ecologist and former university lecturer with nearly 40 years of experience in natural area management. Amongst other things Stephen is an acknowledged authority on the ecology, conservation and management of koalas. Biolink have assisted CVC by conducting koala surveys of the southern Clarence ARKS.

Learn about the impacts of pest animals and subsequent control in a presentation by Amy Hockings, Biosecurity Officer LLS.
