Local writers call out
Authors, public speakers of the Clarence Valley
Our biannual Mini Writers Festival – rivers, valleys and sea is returning to Grafton Library!
However, this event would not be complete without the input of local Clarence Valley authors. Which is why we are opening an expression of interest for writers who wish to participate in this year’s event, to be held Saturday 18 October from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
The day will consist of rolling author talks for authors to read their work to an audience and have a Q & A session about their writing. Additionally, our meeting rooms will have tables for each author to display and sell their books and chat one-on-one with community members. Catering for morning tea and lunch will be provided by the library. This event will be advertised through our website, social media channels, flyers and radio advertising.
Take this opportunity to publicise your work and make connections to other local authors, while also encouraging others who want to write. Talk about your inspiration and experience behind writing, offer writing advice, answer questions, meet fans, and sell copies of your published books.
If your interest has been piqued, all you need to do is fill in the EOI form below.
Join our roster of successful authors from previous events, such as Peter Watt, Renee James, Greg Barron, Paul MacNamara, and many more.
