Ngayundi Sports Complex - User Committees

Welcome to 2021 and the hub for all discussions about the management and operation of the Ngayundi Sports Complex. This is a closed online engagement space where regular users of the complex, located on Yaegl Country at Yamba; can connect. Ngayundi is used all year round, by many sporting groups and events. Council have dedicated staff that keep this complex in top condition, we are looking for opportunities to move the master plan to its 'next stage'. Having the different sporting committees linked to this engagement portal will help create a bigger sporting community and therefore a better community asset.

The purpose of this space, is for conversation and ideas – so get involved and use this as a great resource for connecting and building on this quality piece of infrastructure. Also, just click and 'Follow Project" to stay up to date. We'd love your feedback, check out the our short survey, start a discussion or share your idea.

To the right, you'll find relevant information to check out when you get a chance. If you have any suggestions on what other information you'd like to access, just flick me an email and I'll add it.

Below you’ll find opportunities to put your thoughts 'out there', fill in the short survey, start a forum, or if you have an idea, just pop it in the ideas tab, links for bookings, reporting problems and grant information in one place. Your feedback is important to us for reviewing and planing for upcoming activities/events, thereby making Ngayundi be best location to play sport in the Lower Clarence.

    Hi Touch,

As envisaged, YFC has vacated the 'shared backroom', which is now available for Touch's sole use.

CVC stores some road safety equipment in there.

Access to power has been left as is:  the powerboard in separating wall is mounted for ready access.

On another note : The ground's P-A system seems to not be working.

Both Touch and Football use/need this P-A system, especially now with announcements of covid-safe rules and regulations.

Council has indicated that they are not responsible for repair and maintenance of this infrastructure.

It therefore seems appropriate for Touch and Football to investigate and/or repair any malfunctions and share the cost.

Lower Clarence Sports Council will be open to a 1-for-1 grant applications , effectively halving the cost to both clubs.

Also if this involves any digging for existing wires, the right time would be when the fields are dug up.

    Your thoughts ?

Thanking you for your cooperation in these matters,

    awaiting your reply,

    Kind Regards

    Yamba Football Club
