    1. The natural environment, beaches, national parks
    2. A feeling of community as a result of a smaller population
    3. The alfresco habit of dining etc.

The Clarence is magnificent, it must be clean!
The old part of Grafton is also magnificent, the classic buildings, trees, parks etc. (I hate Shopping World its generic) and its unhealthy, generic franchise.

The environment. Lack of traffic lights ie no time wasted in traffic. It is great to be able to ride the bike.

The natural environment, the rainforest in Iluka, the river, the ocean, the wildlife, the uncrowdedness of the area, people knowing each other, having indigenous community (big untapped knowledge resource).

I moved here (to Maclean) 5 years ago from the Shoalhaven Ava. I love the river, the scenery and the relaxed pace, I don't miss the hustle and bustle of where I came from.
The climate is lovely and in my experience, people are helpful and friendly. I also love the cane trees - which may not be great environmentally, but they add to the character and heritage of the area.

    Friendly community, natural beauty:
    - Rainforests
    - National Parks
    - Waterways
    - Pristine beaches
Having Maclean hospital, low crime levels, knowing your neighbours and being connected to community.
