Clarence Valley Council is excited to announce an upgrade to the Ager Park Playground, Yamba. This project will form part of the broader improvement works linking the playground to the newly constructed William Ager Park Coastal Walkway, creating a more accessible, welcoming and connected experience for everyone to enjoy. However, this is focused solely on the playspace upgrade.

While Ager Park is a local-level playspace, this upgrade presents an opportunity to create something special. A relaxed, coastal inspired gathering place for families, friends and visitors to meet, play and unwind.

Key features of the proposed design include:

• New play equipment designed for active, imaginative play

• Nature play features woven into the existing landscape, inviting children to explore and connect with the natural world

• A relaxed coastal theme with beach-inspired materials and colours

• Enhanced seating and shaded areas for comfort

• Native garden plantings to complement the coastal character
