Clarence Valley Council is excited to share early plans for upgrades at Bishop Druitt Park and the Powell Street Playground in Grafton. We’re looking to create spaces that feel more accessible, more welcoming and more connected places the whole community can enjoy.

These upgrades are a chance to create something genuinely special. A relaxed, interactive spaces where families, friends and neighbours can meet up, explore, play and unwind together.

Highlights of the proposed designs include:

  • Fresh new play equipment to spark active and imaginative play

  • Nature-play features that connect kids with the local environment and nature

  • More seating and shaded spots for comfort all year round

  • Native garden plantings to complement and enhance the setting
