Clarence Valley Council is working to protect the iconic coastal emu through community engagement and on ground actions. Council are seeking citizen scientists to take part in recording coastal emu sightings within the Clarence Valley and Richmond Valley. *Update: Since this film was made, the speed limit on Brooms Head Road has been reduced to 80km/h and an emu-friendly fencing trial is underway.
