What's your Vision for See Park?

Council wants to know your vision for See Park.

What do you love about it? Where can we improve?

Is it a great place for photos? Is it a good spot for a family picnic?

Have you seen the jacarandas in bloom? (If not - definitely get down there in October/November)

Our project team is ready to listen to you ... come and see us at our community engagement days and share your ideas ... we'd love to see you at SEE PARK!

Thank you,

Clarence Valley Council's Open Spaces Team.

The Grafton Jacaranda Festival has an extensive vision for See Park during Festival time. It has been on file for nearly four years now and will never come to fruition unless we can get one thing to occur: better and more extensive access to power at See Park. The vision incudes uplighting of trees, twilight/ evening food festival, interactive art installations highlighting local talent, roaming evening entertainment etc. The Festival is going through a time of great change and re-invigoration. Part of the longer term vision is the incorporation of the three parks (Memorial Park, Market Square and See Park) as the focal points of the Festival. Most of our international guests gravitate to See Park/Turf Street. Without adequate power at See Park the Festival will continue to revolve around the Memorial Park/Market Square axis, missing a sizeable number of the visitor market.
