Ahoy, Me Hearties! Clarence Valley Council is planning to upgrade Alex Bell Park Playground, South Grafton. This upgrade is required to bring all the play equipment up to date with the latest Australian Standards for safety, as well as improve the play experience of the existing play space, or for you pirates out there, Ye old Alex Bell playground be due fer replacin' Arrhhh!!!!

Key improvements proposed in the concept include:

Provide a range of play experiences and cater to a range of age groups through active, imaginative, creative, social, quiet and free play
Connect the playground to the amenities building with a universally accessible path
Create play spaces that add value to the community and strengthen the sense of place while keeping with the current pirate theme of the park and its unofficial name 'Pirate Park'.

Council is seeking feedback on the proposed new play equipment or should we say 'pirate equipment !!' and we want all ye parrot-loving, scurvy-infested, mutinous rogue pirates out there to let us know your favourite play equipment pieces by completing the below survey, attending our Community consultation day, sign the guestbook, leave a comment or ask us a question related to Alex Bell Park playground and one of our project team members will answer your inquiries.

There will be a treasure hunt for the kids, place the sticker on your favourite pieces of equipment and a prize for the best-dressed pirate. AAARRRRRRRHHHHHH!!!!!!
